David Moore, P.E., is a distinguished Registered Professional Civil Engineer with more
than 45 years of wide-ranging civilian and military work experiences. A few of his major
positions include: Project Engineer, US Corps of Engineers, Saudi Arabia, 1981-83;
Construction Manager, US Marine Corps, Okinawa, 1980-81; Manager for Planning, Programming,
and Construction, US Navy, Guam, 1978-80; Supervisor of Utility Engineering, US Marine Corps,
Okinawa, 1976-78; Supervisory Engineer, Hercules Inc., 1960-76. He holds a BS degree in
Civil Engineering from Utah State University, a MS degree in Civil Engineering from the
University of Utah, and the Degree of Engineer from Standford (CA) University. He is a
retired Commander in the US Navy Reserve (Seabees) and served in combat on Saipan in WWII.
In addition, David Moore was an adjunct Professor of Engineering, Appointed Faculty, of
the Central Texas College Pacific Far East Campus where he taught a wide variety of
college courses including drafting and design, applied physics and machine drawing. The
Pacific Far East Campus is part of the Navy Apprentice Program at the Ship Repair Facility
on Guam. The Pacific Far East Campus was a fully accredited, vocational-technical junior
college. Mr. Moore also taught mathematics at the University of Guam.
