| Mona Dam and Reservoir as seen looking east from the air. Mona Reservoir provided water storage for the Elberta project. The dam is one of the oldest in the state of Utah. During the high snowmelt of 1983, it came close to overtopping. Sandbags (the long white line) had to be brought in to raise the freeboard. |
